1. Overview & Your Data Rights
In accordance with Meta Platform policies, global privacy standards, and our commitment to user transparency, you have the right to request the complete deletion of any data associated with your connected Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, or other social channels used with Reasonix Social Publishing.
This document provides clear, step-by-step instructions on how to disconnect your account and request data deletion. Eligible active data is deleted within thirty (30) calendar days after your request is verified.
2. Step-by-Step Deletion Instructions
Follow these three simple steps to disconnect your accounts and initiate full data removal:
Revoke App Access in Facebook / Meta Settings
Log into your Facebook account, open Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), locate Reasonix Social Publishing (or the Reasonix application), and click Remove to revoke all active permissions.
Send Your Deletion Request
Send an email to our designated Privacy & Data Deletion Officer at prathammg@gmail.com with a copy to studio@reasonix.tech.
Include Account Identification Details
In your email, specify the platform name, your Facebook Page or Instagram account name/handle, and the email address used when authorizing the connection. Never include passwords, secret tokens, or financial details.
3. What We Delete Upon Request
Once an authorized deletion request is verified, we permanently purge or anonymize all active Reasonix records tied to your connection:
- Stored access tokens, authentication credentials, and channel identifiers.
- Draft post contents, uploaded images, video files, and captions.
- Scheduling timetables, publishing queues, and historical broadcasting logs.
- Cached analytics, reach metrics, engagement counters, and error diagnostics.
4. Processing Timetable & Verification
We process all data deletion requests with strict adherence to predictable timelines:
- Acknowledgment: We aim to acknowledge receipt of your data deletion request within seven (7) business days.
- Execution: Eligible active data deletion is finalized within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of verification.
- Confirmation: Once the deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation notification to the requesting email address.
5. Limited Retention Exceptions
Certain limited technical records may temporarily remain in isolated, encrypted disaster-recovery backups or server security logs where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or critical system integrity.
Such residual archives are strictly isolated from operational use and are systematically overwritten according to our standard retention lifecycle (typically within 30 days).
6. Data Retained by Third-Party Platforms
This deletion process covers data stored and processed within Reasonix infrastructure. Any posts, media, or analytics retained directly by Meta (Facebook, Instagram) on their own servers remain subject to Meta's data retention policies. To remove published posts from Facebook or Instagram, manage or delete them directly within your Facebook Page or Instagram profile.
